Ptahhotep.com The name Ptahhotep means
"the god Ptah is in peace" .

Ptahhotep was a Vizier during the Old Kingdom; more precisely, he held office in the reign of the Fifth Dynasty king Djedkare Isesi ( ca. 2414-2375 ).

Ptahhotep is thought to be first recorded author. His Maxims are considered the first manual of good manners; he thus can be seen as the first person to have propagated the importance of 'etiquette.'

It seems obvious that a website related to books of the Egyptological field borrow the name of the world most famous author... or at least, the one that should be the best known.
